Practice support

Welcome to the practice support area of the website. 

This area includes information on who to contact for help along with data and other information relevant to member GP practices.  You will also find links to CCG newsletters and those of our partner organisations. 

In this part of the website you can access contact details for the commissioning implementation, IT and medicines management teams, as well as the following:

Use the left-hand menu to navigate around the site or hover over "GP practice member area" positioned in the top right hand corner of the screen and a menu bar will display that allows you to navigate through the pages.

Commissioning Implementation and Primary Care Support team

The Commissioning Implementation Team works with all practices to support develop, redesign and implement new pathway services.

Delegated Commissioning team
As from 1 April 2017, the CCG commission GP services as delegated by the local NHS England (East) area team.

Operations team
The Operations Team supports the development of practices to implement new ways of working in primary care, delivers training and education and supports practice patient participation groups to deliver important messages.

Medicines Management team
The CCG has a small Medicine Management team of pharmacists, a dietician, appliance nurse and pharmacy technicians who work closely with GPs and local health providers to help get the best out of medicines for local people.

ICT and Informatics team
The ICT and Informatics team support GP practices with IT implementation, training and clinical systems support.
